Arnos Vale Cemetery re-launch

To celebrate the results of a £5million restoration project Arnos Vale Cemetery held their re-launch event over the May Bank Holiday 2010. As part of a wide range of activities that attracted over 5,000 visitors, BCAP set out a stall on Saturday 1st May 2010 to showcase the group's activities.

The constant stream of visitors to our stall not only satisfied and inspired interest among the public, but brought some new artefacts to our attention, and alerted us to previously unsuspected archaeology in Brislington.

Don't worry, the ambulance in the photograph below was one of the arranged attractions, and not responding to an emergency!
